Sol Azul Oysters in their shell
Ingredients:
16 Sol Azul oysters
1/2 onion, grated
1/2 garlic, mashed
1/4 cup white wine
1/8 cup rum
1/2 spoonful paprika, powder
1/2 lemon juice
1 1/2 spoonful grated bread
Salt and pepper |

PREPARATION:

Scrub the oyster shells clean under cold running water. Open the oysters and leave in their shell.
Fry onion, garlic and paprika for a few minutes. Add wine and rum; season with pepper, nutmeg and finely chopped parsley. Let the sauce boil and reduce. Cover each oyster with the sauce, sprinkle with grated bread. Place a small portion of the mixture at the end prior to serving and add lemon juice. |
